The ReStore was established by Buckeye Ridge Habitat for Humanity as a funding arm for the organization where the community can be involved in service and support.
We are located at 1713 Marion-Mt. Gilead Road in Marion and are open Tuesday-Saturday 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM. Our donation center closes at 5:00 PM each day. To reach us by phone, please call us at 740-386-2030. You may also connect with the ReStore on Facebook. We accept donations of new and gently used items, such as furniture, appliances, building materials, and more. Shoppers looking for those project materials, construction items and household treasures can purchase items for 50% to 90% below standard retail pricing. If you would like to schedule a pickup for an item you'd like to donate, you can also call (855) 966-2131 or click the orange button near the bottom of this page.
The proceeds from sales at the ReStore directly support Buckeye Ridge Habitat for Humanity and our local projects. Additionally, shopping with us helps the environment by helping to keep reusable items out of landfills. The ReStore may be stocked with appliances, furniture, tools, lumber, cabinets, plumbing and lighting fixtures, seasonal items, and even arts and craft supplies, depending on donations.
SO, WHAT IS A RESTORE?
Habitat ReStore is a discount home improvement store open to the public. The money we make goes straight to Buckeye Ridge Habitat for Humanity. Great idea, right?
WHERE DOES ALL THAT STUFF COME FROM?
All over the place! People like you, businesses, general contractors, home remodeling contractors, and organizations all donate new and reusable materials from their home remodeling projects, overstock inventory, floor samples, scratch and dent items, and much more. We also remove and salvage materials from buildings being demolished and sell them for about 50% off retail prices. When we find a good deal on new discounted items we do our best to purchase and pass the savings on to our customers too!
WHAT’S IT ALL FOR?
Habitat for Humanity’s ReStore is on a mission to eliminate substandard housing and create the opportunity for home ownership in Marion, Morrow, Wyandot and Hardin counties. But that’s not all. We take it a step further by diverting more than 1,700 tons of durable materials from the local landfill every year. Communities dig this. A lot. Have you ever been to a landfill? Yikes.
Simply put, our donors recycle, our shoppers reuse, and the landfills aren’t overflowing.
WHAT DO YOU SELL AT THE RESTORE?
Our stock changes constantly depending on what finds its way to our store. We sometimes post ads about what we currently have in-store on the ReStore's Facebook page. You can also explore this list to see what types of items we typically carry.
