Cost of Home
Our Cost of Home campaign is a national call to action for all Habitat for Humanity affiliates and supporters to advocate for affordable housing at all levels of government. One of our core beliefs is that affordable, decent housing is vital for individuals and families to thrive. One of the biggest barriers to families is that in many cases, it costs over half of a family's income to pay for housing, severely impacting the stability that all people should be able to have. Especially in light of the COVID-19 pandemic, more families than ever are facing financial struggles. In this advocacy campaign, we are asking supporters to join us in asking for candidates and elected officials to develop and implement plans to make housing more affordable.
