We have shifted back into full-time construction mode to complete our rehabs and begin a new home build. Stay tuned for events and other chances to get involved!
The COVID-19 pandemic has affected nearly every avenue of our lives. Out of an abundance of caution to keep our partner families, volunteers, and employees safe, we have suspended or drastically scaled down work on many of our projects throughout 2020 and into 2021. Over the summer, we also had to shut down our ReStore, a major funding arm that helps us accomplish a lot of the work we do each day.
We've been able to make progress on some smaller-scale, but still very important projects: We've salvaged and demolished a house that was donated to us, and have begun preparing the property for a new build in Wyandot County. We've also built sheds and conducted desperately needed repairs for several families throughout our service region.
Although 2020 was a hard year, we are blessed to make positive progress happen for our community. Please stay with us and be a part of our ongoing mission to build strength, stability, and self-reliance through shelter in our community, this year and the years to come.
