News & Events

The COVID-19 pandemic has affected nearly every avenue of our lives. Out of an abundance of caution to keep our partner families, volunteers, and employees safe, we have suspended or drastically scaled down work on many of our projects throughout 2020. Over the summer, we also had to shut down our ReStore, a major funding arm that helps us accomplish a lot of the work we do each day.

We've been able to make progress on some smaller-scale, but still very important projects: We've been working on the finishing touches of a duplex-style house that will become a home for two families. We've salvaged and demolished a house that was donated to us, and have begun preparing the property for a new build in Wyandot County. We've built sheds and conducted repairs for several families throughout our service region.

Although it's been a hard year, we feel blessed to make positive progress happen for our community. Please stay with us and be a part of our ongoing mission to build strength, stability, and self-reliance through shelter in our community, this year and the years to come.

Upcoming Events

Our ReStore will be hosting a special preview event on November 24th, 4PM-6PM. For these two hours, guests will be able to get the first look at our supply of holiday decor and gift items. We won't spoil the surprise, but this will include a shipment of items from Macy's, including cookware, small kitchen appliances, and other home goods. This is your best chance to find a bargain on some great Christmas gifts, or to treat yourself to something nice!

This event is being presented as a fundraiser, and guests must purchase a ticket for the event. Tickets are being sold at our ReStore for $5. Stop in or give us a call at 740-386-2030 for more information!
